More information

Action Transport Theatre launches its Young Actors’ programme with free taster sessions in January and February 2012. Ideal for young people aged 12-25.

Action Transport Theatre (ATT) is a professional theatre company based in Ellesmere Port that exists to put new writing and young people at the heart of UK Theatre. We make new theatre with young people and also work with them to develop our professional productions.

This spring Action Transport Theatre launches its Young Actors’ programme for young people aged 12-25. 25 places will be available.

ATT Young Actors will have the opportunity to take part in 6 day-long drama workshops over the spring term, book before anyone else to join the ATT Summer School (more details to follow), create their own work using the Whitby Hall Studio Theatre (as part of ‘Project Me’ in autumn 2012), add their profile to the new ATT website (coming soon), receive ATT news bulletins, enjoy priority access to other ATT events… and lots more besides.

ATT is running two free taster sessions at Whitby Hall, Ellesmere Port, giving young people the opportunity to try a drama workshop, meet others, and find out more about what it means to become an ATT Young Actor. No previous experience is necessary:

Wednesday 18 January 2012 (6-8pm)
Wednesday 1 February 2012 (6-8pm)

To reserve a place on a free taster session e-mail Stacey Arnold at stacey@actiontransporttheatre.org or call 0151 357 2120.
